Charissa Thompson

Thompson was fired by FOX Sports to host the show for Versus Sports and Yahoo Sports. She was the host of Versus' NHL coverage in the studio and produced web videos for Yahoo's highly-trafficked platform. Thompson was the site's presence during high-profile sports events like events like the 2010 Winter Olympics and FIFA World Cup. Success in both arenas led to her joining ESPN in August 2011, in which she was selected as one of the hosts on ESPN's newest show for the afternoon "Numbers Never lie." In July 2012, she made the transition to the show that became known as "SportsNation," enjoying a success that continued until she resigned from the network in order to return to Los Angeles for the launch of FS1 in May of 2013. A sports fan at heart, Thompson has also shown the impressive versatility to cross into the realm of entertainment of TV. Thompson was hired to be a co-host for"Extra," a Hollywood newsmagazine "Extra" in June 2014 after working a number of jobs part-time.
