Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles as he is known for the pop world, is a British composer and singer. Harry Styles belongs to the band One Direction. Harry Styles was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on February 1 1994. He's the father of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, and with his three classmates, formed a musical group dubbed White Eskimo. The group was part of the Battle of Bands where thanks to their excellent presentations they took home the trophy. Though he's been interested in music, he was also aspired to become an lawyer or an physiotherapist. He was employed in a local bakery part-time in order to provide for his family. In the year 2010, Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he sang Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. For that reason his band were forced to split. Nicole Scherzinger told Harry Styles, Liam Payne Zayn Milik Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson that they'd form the group One Direction after the X The X. The formation of the group took place in the year 2010. The five young people were supported by Simon Cowell. The group was backed by Cowell, and they sang Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You as well Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. They were one of the top contenders in the competition. However they were placed third just behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles did not receive any cash prize. However, Cowell offered a 2-million-pound deal to One Direction in order for them to join Syco Records.
