Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-English and half-Spanish woman, was born April 16, 1996, in Miami Florida. She is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor, a ex-bank executive, and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist, is Anya Taylor-Joy. The father of her mother, who is Argentinan of Scottish and English descent is also her mother. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor Joy has four siblings, one from each of her parents' previous marriages. The family lived within Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and then moved to Victoria district in London. According to Taylor-Joy, this relocation was difficult and she was unable to study English in the hopes of returning to Argentina. Hill House became her school of choice after Taylor-Joy was required to switch schools. After that, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she learned dance and participated in shows. At the age of 16, she dropped out of school to make a career of acting. Taylor-Joy's dream to become an acting star began in the early years of her life. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the very first model who hired her as model for professional models.
